Harry Gregg RIP
Sad to hear that Harry Gregg has died. Not West Ham but a legend of a footballer and a legend of a man. Thoughts with family - including his nephew Steve Lomas.

Hero of Munich, helped save about 5 lives but a man who could start a fight in an empty room, a gift he kept right up to the end

A lot of people, me included, may hate what Man U have become but what that club achieved after that awful Munich incident was fucking outstanding

Re: Harry Gregg RIP
(It says a lot about brand values that "Gregg's Brown Bread" is notable in its absence.)
Won the Keeper Of The Tournament at 1958 World Cup. Possibly for same reasons Fabianski is so lauded: ie, rest of team is hopeless.
RIP Sir. Good innings.
